About
Volley Hotel Istanbul is a 4-star property set in the Altunizade area of Uskudar, on Istanbul's Asian side. The hotel positions itself as a practical base for both leisure and business travellers, with a fitness centre, a coffee shop, and a restaurant on site. It's about 4.2 km from the Hagia Sophia Museum, and the area is well connected by local buses and the metro.
Guest feedback highlights large, clean rooms and a generally attentive service team. The hotel's location is often praised for its proximity to shopping malls and transport links across the city. However, experiences vary: some guests have found room sizes inconsistent and breakfast service occasionally stretched, so it's worth checking the specific room type you book.

8.3Verified guest“My stay was very pleasant. The twin room was spotless and enormous, equipped with a key card, tea and coffee facilities, and a desk. The staff were friendly, professional, and provided excellent service. The location was unbeatable, close to the metro.”

8.3Verified guest“Volley has spacious rooms with comfortable beds and great facilities. Breakfast had a delicious variety, including tasty soups. The location is close to shopping malls. I also enjoyed the nice and quiet swimming pool, perfect for a quick dip.”
8.3Verified guest“Spotless and huge rooms with new furniture.”
8.3Verified guest“My experience was not good: the first night's wake-up call never came, no instructions for the phone or safe, the air conditioning broke on the second day, no room service menu, staff spoke little English, breakfast was average—fruit juice not fresh and no fresh fruit, only tinned, often low stock by 9:30 though served until 10:00, no bathrobe, a fruit plate was left but the plate and cutlery were removed the next morning, the mini-bar wasn't restocked until I asked, and the fax machine was out of ink. For a 4-star hotel, the management felt poor, especially for international guests.”
8.3Verified guest“It was a really comfortable hotel. Beds were comfortable, wide, and roomy; the bathroom was very nice with a hot tub.”
